From 2021 – 2024, I lead creative projects, managed the design system and expanded Ginkgo's brand expression.
Growing and maintaining a brand language and design system for the worlds largest horizontal cell programming platform presents many unique challenges.
Ginkgo serves myriad industries, each with their own set of challenges and cell engineering solutions. Ginkgo's design system needed to be versatile, it's brand expression striking yet grounded. Given our wildly different approach to engineering biology, it was imperative that we show people that a different science is possible.
